Wednesday. [Only 2more Days]

Well we are all here cleaning and typee chillin. I had class onece again && it was my last. Finally there are only 2 more dayss of SYEP. Yayyy mad happy. But anywayss the job was fun throughout the summer. I didn't really get people to really know me & didn't show them who I really was. I did have fun a lil bit with them though. We were a winning team and we still are. NEWSEUM is who we are. Peaceee !!!!!

What a Day.

Ohhh man. Presentation was poppin today. I actually liked thiss presentation. We was practicingg for like 2 hours, and itss was boring. My other teammates was like "Charlene, youre makingg me bored, SPEAK LOUDER !" I can't fckn help it if i dont speak loud enough. I hate speaking loud, I dont even like the way I talk, I sound like a young man-lady. Seriously. But anyway the presentation went well && we had hoped we won but we didn't. It'ss okay though, we was a winning team, and we are still a team. We win some, we lose some. It'ss okay though. GO NEWSEUM ! All of was acting out the Maury Show & American Idol, & its wass so funny. It would've been better if somebody video taped it. Awww man, it would've been overr. lol But we had fun anywayss, we could take a lost. At least we worked hard & did our part. We would likee to thank the judges for supporting our team & watchingg our presentation.

well peeps we r at de end. it has come to say well done. that being said i am happy because i can finally focus on getting my travel class homework and get ready for culinary school. today i am going to bloomberg studios and then i have a presentation at columbia which i have confidence we will win if we dont fool around. i am kinda nervous because i have top talk to the judges again which to me is not an easy task b/c i tend to get nervous and shake alot. afterwards i would like top take a ride and film times square after dark for my travel class homework. plus i need to start getting ready for my trip i would like to take be4 de summer iz done but anyways i got to email party of my homework so wes iz out peace

Busy Mondayy.

Yoooo. I really didnt want to go to work today. Madd busyy. I had to do a 5-paragraphh essay about what I learned at Harlemlive & 2-paragraphh essay about myself. Come on, you know how many timess I hatee writingg about myself? It's too muchh work. Mind you, I aint even finishh bothh of my essays, so what was I suppose to do? Had no time to even finishh cuzz everybodyy rushing me to do something else. We was practicingg for our "final" presentation. Over & Over & Over. I mean it was typee funn. But I think we gonna win tmmrw if we step it up.

Ohhh hell nooo. My weekend was horriblee. The worst weekend ever. Now people know why I go to Bklyn EVERY weekend!!! I had to babysit my sister's twoo devil kidss in thee BRONX. [I hate going to thee BRONX.] I swear I be wishingg they was never my neice & nepheww. Seriouslyy. Well shit I did get paid for it so I aint complainingg about money comingg to me. But thesee kidss are hard-headed to the fullest likee they never fckn listen to me. NEVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I made a deal to my sister if I was gonna be doing this babysitting, she better pick me up from house & take me backk home the NEXT day. But no, she hadd to keep there till Sunday, && she dropss me off at the train station. How rude of her ! I wass really pissed that day when I had to go home by myself on the train. Man I said fck her & she better not call me again for this shit. Deadass !

Anywayss, my weekend was pretty good. I slept over my best friends house last friday and i spent the whole day with her on saturday. Then yesterday I was at my stepfathers boat with my Boyfriend and family. it was pretty cool. Even though it was cloudy outside, i didnt care, i enjoy cool weather. But i was freezing in the water. But overall it was niceee.

Heyyyyy bloggers :). OK so we just came back from taking pictures. Its very hot so me and Sade are sitting down outside. My weekend was VERY fun. I went to the pool on Saturday and to the movies. So i heard that we lost o Friday and that the red team won -____-. But t doesn't matter because we won A LOT and tomorrow we are going to win !!!!! Our video was great and so was our presentation but i guess that there's was better -______-. But right now we're preparing for tomorrow. Soo I'll ttyl :D

today i had to go to a workshop in my neighborhood for summer youth. afterwards i came to work and worked on my essay for the presentation and i also did my profile. we went out to 125 to do things for the presentation. now i got to start part one of my travel class homework which is pick one of my international locations and come up with ways to acheive the goal of actually going. this weekend was awsome i went to see the movie gi joe which was cool and i also went to some mexican resturant on 48 street. it was cool. i got home at 4:10 saturday morning and was back on the local train heading to travel class by 7:30. we went to the bklyn botanical garden which was cool because i actually learned how to meditate and we told stories. i endeed up crying when i reflected on da day my grandmother passed away. we took lots of pics. after class i went to the library then i went home and helped my dfad work on our new shed we r building. yestarday i went to a church in the bronx with my sister which was cool because my aunt was preaching. they had food. dont get me wrong i love food but the food they had was not the best. after church i went home and my parents and i went to bensonhurst bklyn to get a ladder that my dad saw on craigslist after that we went home and i had dinner and went to sleep i had a great weekend but i am tired and i wish it was saturday already b/c at thiz stage of de game travel class iz de best thing at hl besides me becoming leading editor of writing culinary stories gtg i'll blog tommorow lolz

What a wack day. Anyways I'm here a work trying to practice for our "presentation" tomorrow. Our team are dancing to other kinds of music. I hate talking about culture, I don't really pay attention to my own culture. I just hope our team do good on the presentation and win again.

I wasnt at work like all day. I had my 1:30 to 4:00 Class today. That was sooo fun. Our topic for the day was about Sex Education. It was so funny Because the teacher had kept using me as a reference. The teacher and this other student are ALWAYS arguing about different sexuality and stuff. They try to make differences between right and wrong and it got that serious. But anyway, that was funny. All the arguing took up most of the class time so that was great too. I had fun today. I can't wait till next week. Holalujahh. If that how you spell it. lol.

Wednesday.

Awww man. Today was a good day today. In the morning I went down to 42nd street Times Squaree again to take somee picturess becausee yesterday there were no picturess taken and I went window shoppingg for a lil bit. Guess what ? I saw Spongebob today. Yay. I used MY own camera this time. Then after that, I went to Best Buy on 86 street to buy My CSI: Crime Scene Investigation dvds becausee I love that show soo soo much you dont understand. I got the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th Season. Thatss how much I love this show. I was so excited theyyy had more Seasons of the show. I've been waitingg for thosee. It was a good trip though.

Bowling

I suck at bowling ot os the truth. even a girl beat me I was really mad but it was a playful anger. So but I wished we could've stayed there but it was starting to get boring after a while and my fingers were starting to hurt and I could barely hpld some of the bpwling balls but it was funny every time sombody got a gutter ball but still I lost but who cars im not an professional bowler so ha so im bout o leave

So, yesterday I heard that our presentation has to be about ten minutes long. Well, this kinda disturbs me because now my group has to practice practice and PRACTICEE. And tomorrow i will be leaving early so a good day to practice is today =/

Today we are going bowling which iz cool b/c i have been since i was like fourteen. I cant wait. I gotta start typing up my story or the site and for travel class and I got memior class today at 3 to 4 then bowling from 4 to 8. 42nd Street Times Square.

What a good trip downtown. Our team Newseum went to 42nd street to do a short P.O.S. which was kind of cool. We was walking around trying to get an interview of a person. There was a short interesting show going on in front of the museum "Ripley's Believe It or Not". There were two street performers and they were doing some stunning tricks. We had mad fun down there. Well I have to go down there again tomorrow morning to capture more pictures so I can do a photo slide show. I might go buy something from somewhere around there while I'm at it. today we went to 42nd st to film for our neighborhood story and do a pos on it. it was really fun because we met street performers and we got to see many amazing tricks. one of my most memorable moments was when we saw a lady eat fire and this guy sticked something like a big pin all the way down his nose.

Well, my team and I went to 42nd street to do a nieborhood story. It was pretty cool. Theres always something going on in Time Square. We watched two street perfomers. One of them was a guy, he was putting a screw driver in his nose. He was cool. Maurita got to interview him. She did pretty good. Then the other performer was this female, she was doing some fire thing. The performance was real good. I enjoyed it. I got to interview only two people for my p.o.s., the first guy was cool, the second was annoying me but whatever.

Like every other day, I really want to go home, i am so tired.

Good morning bloggers:). Ahh what a long day i had yesterday. I learned and also did A LOT but i also gained a lot of points:D. I did my story the correctly way and i learned how to edit video and post things on the website :) !!

ugh another day in this place. How fun. Each day i am getting more tired of coming here. I guess because ive been very sleepy and not wanting to come to Harlem. I cant wait until this program is over. One more week left. And i can not wait to have more fun in this vacation. I also cant wait until the summer is over. I hate this hot weather.

Today

Today we are going back to fordahm yaay i forgot for what but we are going i am so happy i got paid and im not going to waste any of my money becuz last paycheck I messed up bigg tyme I am going to buy a fone 2mm with my mommy becuz she doesnt wanna give my money to me because she thinks i am irresponible so0o yea Malik is out

So, its August. Thank God. Im pretty happy but school is going to start next month which is going to suck because i do not want to go back to school. This program is over by next week. Im okay about that. My summer is so fun so far. I been going out alot. Last weekend I went on my stepfathers boat and i jumped in the water. that was cool. Yesterday I went to Citi Field with my Boyfriend. I do not like the mets, they suck. But he does so I went. I had 2nd row seats which was cool. This month is going to be more fun because I am going to a hotel in P.a. and to Hershey Park and probably to a Dew Ranch in upstate with my boyfriend. And im going to 6flags again. So, im looking forward to the next few weeks =) I went to many cruise-lines this summer and to helicopter rides and I really dont want this summer to end, but thats lifee.

It's August. Practice makes Perfect.

Finally August is here. I been waiting for this month to come. Its been 6 weeks since I've been working for this summer job. We got one more week to go, finally. Well on Friday we had our presentation that was not correctly done, our video was very good, but just the way we was acting when the video was playing, not as perfect. We took our first big lost and we came in 3rd place, that was so hard for me to hear, and one of our teammates Maurita tried to save our presentation like 4 different times. But we wasn't as prepared because some people didn't come, there was only like 7 of us, and our presentation wasn't good, it was very confusing, and when it was questioning time we didn't answer that last one, we was all fckd up. It's all good though, we can all learn from our mistakes. We are still a good team Newseum.

My weekend

On Saturday I went to travel class and I learned how to set up a travel blog which was cool. I also read my essay out loud to the class and my teacher Danya and everyone else liked the humor in my story. After class I did some prep work work for school. After that I went home because we were going to Mt Vernon for a barbeque which was cool. At the barbeque I had fish cake, rice n peas, mac n cheese, souse, chicken and lots of soda. They had lots of music which was cool and I have to say that I had a great weekend.

so we lost b/c they said that we were not functioning as a team. I'll be first to tell ya I was so fusturated and disappointed at how we lost that I cried while on the way to the Bronx to church. I could understand losing for a reason like missing things in the presentation but losin because lack of teamwork that was not cool i got travel class so i gtg. we better step up to da plate includin myself.

Okkk soo i just got back from 106n Park. What a waste of time. We couldn't get in because MAURITA didn't print out the tickets and we needed someone 18 and older. So then Sade got her boyfriend to come but he came too late so we couldn't get in. But today wasn't a really bad day. It had good moments. Well i guess ill ttyl :)

Today is my grandmothers 68 b-day and me and my family are throwing her a big suprise party that is going to be at my house I sure hope she does not have a heart attack like in those movies when the old people arrive at the suprise party and they have a massive stroke or heart attack then the people are like what happened is she dead or playing so yeah I sure hope that goes really well and my grandma have a great time and I hope she has many more b-days to come

yesterday i was with my friends we went to the pool me jason andy  and jeniel we webt early in the morning it was a little boerd in the morning but then in the afternoon it got better there were more pepole and more of my friends went we was raceing in the water and i always use to be in second place cause my friend jason was fast and he use to be the frist one always to win in 1 place so it was fun being in the pool yesterday with my friends when we got out from the pool we went to play basketball with my other friends it was a great day with my friends yesterday *

OK so today was an interesting day. I edited my first video and posted my first story on the website. I learned how to edit videos and how to write an interesting story. Editing video is harder than what it looks because u have to remember a lot of things and you have to pick what you what and what you don't want. Overall i can't complain about today because it was interesting :)

So, i just came back from my interview at Harlem Lanes. It was pretty good. I interviewed the manager Danny and i think I got alot of information from him. Harlem lanes is so good to go and hang out at. People should go check it out. Raynaldo, Malik and I got to play for free, so that was pretty cool. We got to play 2 rounds because we had to come back to work.

well, i dont feel like being here ugh. It is pouring outside and i want to go home. this is a good day to go home and watch a good movieeeeeeeee.

Came into work and Gesily had a talk with me. She gave me a warning that if i don't do 2 articles by tomorrow to not even come in friday. I'm a try my best to write articles and not essays but I can't promise anything. I can only stay until 1 because I have seminar today. Im so mad because i wanted to go on the Bake my Cake POS today. I want to become a pastry chef when I get older. I love baking. Well not much to do today, but i sure have have a whole lot to do at home and tomorrow.

Me and Muarita went on a POS to a restaurant called Hells Kitchen. It was really cool. It was kinda hard because it was my first time writing down what the guy said because we didn't take a video person with us. I learned a lot about it. One thing I thought was cool was they designed the place to make it feel like you was in your mother's kitchen. It was a place where you can feel really comfortable at. I also liked the Chandelier it was very creative. It had empty Champaign bottles on it. Also its only been open for 9 years.

Okayy today, I dont know what the hell to do today. I have this class again today from 1:3O to 4:OO. I don't feel like going but I fckn have to. I think I'm gonna be let go very soon but I'm not sure. That's because I'm not doing as much work as I'm suppose to be doing. It's fckn raining all over the place, this is not a good summer. I figured that this is the worst summer of 2009. I never thought it would turn out to look like that. Shit, I'm still working for the summer and gettin this money, so it really don't matter, and we only got two more weeks anyway. Can't wait till that day officially comes.

Well we just got back a little while ago. I had so much fun we walked around Foredoom and looked at the stores. Dacia bought two things. We ate lunch over there at Bugerking. We so this cute guy but we didn't talk to him lol. We walked so much that my feet hurt. I am so happy that we back because it was soo hot outside. I get paid friday Yay!!!!! We where going to take videos over there. Franchely did a ode good job she was so cute with the video camera. I can't wait to see her last piece.

i just cam,e back from my pos it was pretty cool because i liked learning to use the video camera. we went into mad stores and did alot of footage of the area. after that we went to burger king for lunch. after that we recored more video. after that we headed to da train where we almost got taken in because we got caught by da cops while doing what u would call a double swipe. i was scared because i dont like cops. but i'm back and now i am going to sugar hill to finish my travel class homework so i be back later

Ugh yesterday it rained again. All i did was type everything Dacia needed me to type. I also made a schedule for the POS's we are going on. Dacia thought it was a good idea. Esmy final came back t work because she was soo sick and she still sick but she came in anyway. It was a long day because of the rain and i went home in it because Yolanda had my umbrella. So that was really all that happen.

Fordham

Today some of the members of Newsuem went to Fordham road to just do a video with no journalist. It was very interesting because I got to see how the other video people shoot and others it felt good knowing that me and Dacia won't be the only two people that know how to setup and work the camera because it was really starting to get annoying having to kepp going out on stories back to back so it is a big relief

Hey :) . So i just got back from Fordham. I was recording the neighborhood and it was fun. We took the d train to Fordham road and got off next to a sneaker store so of curse we went in. It was too bright so i actually couldn't record the street # but i did record the name of the store. After that we kept recording all around Fordham. It was a very good and fun day :D !

Awww Damn. I don't feel like leaving this worksite today. Today I have to leave early because I have a dentist appointment at 4. Time for a check-up. But I finally finished my memoir, it was mad hard writing 600 hundred words about high school. That's mad much. Also I will be at work tomorrow from 11 to 12:3O and it's Wednesday, I have that 1:3O to 4:OO class, ughhh I'm starting to hate going to that class now. It's getting kind of boring now-a-days. Well yesterday I didn't come to work on Monday becausee I was odee sick. Likee my bodyy was soree, I threww up almost all day, stayed in bed all day, my stomach was hurting really bad that everytime I had to get up to get something or to do something, it got WORST. I ain't wanna come to work and be like that so I just stayed home. Im so fckn glad that our team WON again on Friday! Seriously we wasn't prepared at all, we didn't even practice from Mon-Thurs, only on Friday we had like 20 minutes to think of what we was gonna present and how to do it. Crazy right? Hey :) . Ok so friday we won ! Im so excited that we won and that i was there to see us win. My weekend was fun. My best friend came back from Georgia so i spend my whole sunday with her. On saturday i went to randolph park to spend some time wit my family for my aunts birthday. I had a lot of fun. Today i made phone calls and i reserached for my youth program profile. So, today I went out on a story for Dacia regarding on Harlem. I asked questions to only 4 people. I asked many people if they want to be inteview and alot of them me down -__-.

I hate when people say no but whatever. I tried my best so thats what count. The last person i interviewed was very good so im glad i interviewed her.

hey whats up if anyone is wondering were I am well im sorry im in queens comunity college taking classes and well ill e out at 3:30 so see you guys soon ill be there......=]

So, my weekend was okay. Nothing special, just hung out with my Boyfriend. I don't know if anybody saw that it was raining a little bit of ice yesterday (hale). 

Anyways, I am suprised that my team NEWSEUM won again. We werent prepared at all. We only practiced for like 20 minutes of what we were gonna do for presentation and we won AGAIN =) We are UNDEFEATED lol. And we won the points. Ahh no one can beat us :) HOPEFULLY =P

I was kind of surprised when they announced our team as da winner for the third time in a row because our commerical was pretty short but I guess they thought we were right on point. I had a great day Friday and I hope that the judges and everyone else liked the food we prepared.

What a weekend

On Saturday I went to Maryland with my dad to attend a ordination service. It was interesting cept for the fact that we were in the suburbs which was kind of disappointing because I wanted to go to the inner city but I took some pictures and recorded my self in front of a house on Weyburn Road. I took some pictures of the two houses that I really liked and I also took two pictures of the church that I was at. After the service which ended at 7pm we had cake and soda. After light refreshments we got back into the bus and came back to NY. We arrived into NY at 10:30pm and my mom picked us up and we went home. Yestarday I went to church which was cool. After church I went home and played video games. I had a great weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

What a day

i had a long day i used the video cameria and taped confessionals and did some footage for tommorow"s presentation after that i went to pathmark and bought supplies to cook the baked ziti for tommorow's presentation we also baked a cake for yolanda's birthday which is goning to be cool. after that i cleaned up the kitchen i'm so excited becuse we r gonna have some great food which our undefeatable team Newseum has made i gtg because tommorow i am doing a story on the sean paul concert plus finish cooking for the presentation so i'll blog tommorow good nite all.

Today was okay so far. We had a team meeting in the morning. Not everything is going good with my team but i hope we can get things together. I have no idea what we are planning to do for tomorrow but i guess its whatever i hope we still win. Even though i have to leave early tomorrow its going to be ok. We have to do more stories so that we can get more points and we haqve to keep up with our point sheets but we can do it. I am sooo tired i want to go home.This week has been ugly as hell it has been raining. =[ i hate the rain sooooo much. I hope my boo feels better Esmy i miss her she is sicky. =[

Thursday.

Today will seem like a pretty good day. I don't know but today I think I'm suppose to be posting stories but I haven't gone to that yet. Yesterday I wasn't not here because I had doctor & dentist appointments, I wasn't going to make it to Good Morning America, also I had that 1:30 to 4:00 class too. I want to do some more work, I'm tired of doing same thing everybody should be doing like posting blogs or like going out on stories. I hate going on stories , I don't like interviewing people, I'm not a very good speaker at all. But hey everybody is not good at everything you know. We sometimes have to learn the things were not good at too. Ahh I feel better saying all of this.

I dont feel good today. My stomach is killing me and I feel like going home. I feel like going home within an hour because I cant take this pain. If i go home, my stomach would still hurt but at least I wont be here moody. My presentation is tomorrow so thats what stopping me from going home because i have to practice for it. good morning yesterday i went to the park with my cousins we had a water ballons fight we was all trowing water balloons to each other it was fun we also went to play baseball with some kids that was in the field playing so we make are team blue and red and i was in the blue and my cosin andy was in the red we wanted to be together but i wasint then we play like for a hour and left home we was tried and i had to go to sleep early cause i work the next day so i went to sleep it was great day yesterday....

Well yesterday around 7:30 me and my mother went to a concert. Some guy name KRS1 was preforming. I had no idea who he was or what he rapped about until yesterday. It was kind of cool. I had fun because I just kept joking around and making the best out of it. My mom's boyfriend got his autograph. He wanted me to take a picture with him but I didn't want to. I would have felt bad if i did because i didn't even know he existed until yesterday. He kept insisting because he was a supposably legend, but that was way before I was born. Now Im hoping my team gets it together today so we can win tomorrows presentation. We have what it takes to win we just got to keep pushing ourselves and keep our eye on the prize.

Today has been a wack day. Nothing special. I just learned how to post stories on the website and im pretty happy about that because ive been waiting to do that. I posted three stories and my profile, so i learned something NEWWWWW =]

Well, today I met up with maurita at the train about 7am. The we met up with Wesly. We went downtown to 42nd street to Good Morning America. We were suppose to make the person on the news say Harlem Live. But we couldnt make them do that because they didnt come outside. They were going to go outside but they stood inside because they was a bad name maxwell playing in there (dont kno who they are.)

So after that. we just went to Mcdonalds and to 34 street.

This morning I woke up early so I can go with my team to Good Morning America but I couldn't get in contact with no one. I just went back to sleep. I woke up at 9 to find out I had no baby sitter for my little brother. I had to bring him to work. Everyone thinks he's adorable. I just think he's a pain. I guess thats because I live with him. I cant stay long today because I have a seminar at LTW.  Luckily I have nice friends here like Jeffery who let my brother play with his PSP. If it wasn't for him my brother would have been bothering me that he was bored. Thank you jeffery!!!

Well today my Team was supposed to go to Good Morning America. But only three people went. The whole thing was kind of a mess I didn't really know what was going on. So now we have to see what we are going to do for friday. We also have to start writing stories. Im not looking forward to write but I got to do it. Sadly =[ . A Mixed up ass Day

Today was what you could call a mixed up ass day. I got up at 4:15 am to get ready to meet my team at HL by 6am. when I got there noone was there I waited and waited till two of my teamates called and said they were at the 2 train. When we got downtown we found out that we wouldnt be able to a picture or worse be on television. After that we went to McDonalds for breakfast where I had apple pie and hash brown. We also went to some store where Maurita got free lip gloss. We also went to H&M and Forever 21 where of course Maurita went crazy bying stuff lol after that we got on a uptown express and came here where I'm do sum work. I cant wait till Friday because I'm going to a Sean Paul concert with some of my friends and we have our presentation which I know we are gonna win. I gtg but I'll blog lata peace out peoples

Well today was ok. There wasn't really a lot to do but i found something to do. I finished my profile and then we went to the park to make a poster. We had two group meetings to talk about what we were going to do on the commercial. Some people went on a POS. We had a lot of fun in the park. It was like we were little kids. I was sooooooo hungry the whole day even after i ate. Then we had to take a memoir class. Thats all i really did.

Well this morning i got to Harlem Live REALLY EARLY.!!! I was here at 10:30 which isn't cool. I thought there was going to be a delay on the train but I was completely wrong. I even missed two trains trying to get my metro card. I was still early though. If Gisely wasn't here I would have been waiting outside in the rain. Then a few minutes later everyone started to come so I didn't feel so lonely. It is pretty ugly outside and it looks like its going to rain all day. I didn't get to see the news this morning so i don't know for sure but i hope not. I hate rainy days unless I'm home, lolsz. Hopefully today goes smoothly.

Well of course Team NEWSEUM won Friday's presentation. We could have done way better with presenting out topic but we did our best with last minute problems. The judges loved our video thanks to my team leader Dacia. Also the liked the pamphlets jeffery drew which were hot. With the point sheets we did way better than the first week. We also won that. We are going to be the undefeated Champions and thats a fact. We are our own competition.

today was a gret day. i went to nbc and had a great time i saw meridith from the today show which was cool. we got soveniours and went to subway for fun. i saw alot of studios and photos. when we got back we had to work on posters for wednesday's trip to gma i am exicited and the bad trade off that happened friday got fixed the guy quit so we got to keep our team togethor:) tommorow is a late day so i blog tommorow.

My weekend was pretty good, so im happyyyy about that ! I went to 6flags and it was so fun. I had the flash pass which means i was not waiting on any line. i just got on the ride within 3 minutes and i felt good knowing that other people had to wait hours lol. So today is monday and i hatee Mondays because its the starting of the new week. But im probably gonna go to Splish Splash this weekend so im excited.

Today i went to a NBC tour and it was cool. I saw a couple of famous people. One of them was a woman name meredith, something like that. she was pretty nice, we got to watch her interview someone. it was cool. I also saw alex rodriquez. He looks cutee =] and tori spelling walked behind me and i didnt even pay attention to her. But overall the tour was fun. we went to diff studios and took photos.

So mey team won the points and the presentation. Yay NEWSEUMMMMM !!!

OK so today i came in to work to find out that i might not be on the team no more :'(. I had no idea about this and i don't like it. Friday i went and i couldn't find the main entrance and i was outside around Broadway looking to see if i see one of my members but i didn't so i went back home. And no I'm not lying and not I'm not using this as an ''excuse''. But right now i have to start my Carrear essay so ttyl :)

Hey guess what? On Friday our team Newseum won the presentation again but it was about being Eco-friendly. We all didn't do so good but the judges thought we did the best of the other teams. That's good news to hear. Well anyways today I had to do my career essay but it's not typed yet. We had Memoir class, I really like that class for some reason. But today was alright, wasn't a bad day. I hate Monday because its the first day of the damn week, and we staret something new or something. I hope this Friday's presentation will continue to be better than the other teams. We are so creative, that's why we keep winning!

Memoir Homework: Probation

The word probation reminds me of when my father had got arrested and he got out and he had 2 years of probation. He had to go every monday and every monday I would be with him. That olace was so boring I swore to myself I wold never get probation. But BOy was I wrong when I got arrested for a gun on me even though It wasn't mine. Nut since I was a minor they let me off with 18 months of Probation. Those 18 months have still not gone by

Well today was a interesting day...... Today we went to the South Street Seaport. It was soo hot but we dealt with it . We saw alot of werid things but whatever. We didn't even get to take pictures. BoOoO the camera didn't want to work with us =[. We walked around for a little bit. But we were runing late so we din't get to do everything we wanted. But we did get at least a few interviews. So thats a good thing. My baby Lachelle didn't come today =[ but it ok. I Miss Her.

OK so today was a great day :). Me,Dashia,Aryl and Wesley went on a POS to south street seaport . We got a few interviews about being eco-friendly and about their neighborhood. A lot of people were rude and a lot others didn't speak English :( .But over all we interviewed a few people :) . We saw a few shows. Today went much better than yesterday. Well i have to go to a team meeting so ttyl :)

So, today was pretty okay, well only when i went to Yankee Stadium with Yolanda and Jefrey. Even thou i really wanted to go inside of the stadium. We were trying very hard to get inside but we had to call first so i guess next timeeeee =)

So, this morning was veryyyyyyyy Interesting. haha. I am getting to dislike this group. This group is full of lazy people. I dont understand how someone is gonna want to come to work and really not do anything. But whatever. Like at the Bronx Zoo, someone wanted to be so scared not even wanna try to come up to someone for an interview smh.

Yankee Stadium

So, today Yolanda, jeffrey and I went to the Yankee Stadium. It was pretty cool. We were going to go inside of the stadium but the lady told me that i had to call in advance if i wanted to go in as press, so i guess next time. I really want to interview Dereck Jeter =)

But it was pretty cool overall. Yolanda and I did a few interviews and got really good answers from people. But even though we got our work done, i want us to go back within a week when theres a game, so that me and her get to interview alot of other people.

Wow today was a really wild day. I'm really tired of picking up slack for people who don't do anything at all. people just rather sit there and complain. Its really childish we are older now we should be able to work together in a very peaceful environment. Lets all face it we are ages 14 to 17 working in a group of people we don't really know . Just get along.

Had fun today with my homegirl sade. we went on a P.O.S to Yankee Stadium. It was very cool. Walkin in the office was kind of wild. I got a screamed at once I walked through the door. Hopefully friday and the rest of the summer will be better. I'm still a little sick. Ear Infections are the worst. Met the funniest guy ever. He was a Met fan in a all yankee lover neighborhood. He was massively funny.

Yesterday was a very boring day. I came late to work and when I got there my group left without me to the Bronx zoo. I felt so stupid because on monday my group went late to central park I felt they will also go late to the Bronx zoo.I wanted to go because I have years that I don't go and my sister was there with her camp so I wanted to see her. When they got back they all told me

that it was bad and hot. So I felt kind of good for not going because I don't really like hot. After they got back they went to lunch with me. They wanted chinese food and I wanted burger king so want we did will they were in chinese I was ordering B.K. for myself. When I was eating they took there chinese food to B.K. and everybody was looking at them. When we got back I had to take the memoir class. When that was done I when to take the broadcast writing. I left HarlemLive at 7:00 and when I got home I went to the mall with my parents and my sisters.

This word fits for my mother & father. But my father is the best cook of all, I don't care what anybody says. I love when my father makes food because it taste so good. I kind of cook too but I'm not that type of cook like if I make rice and beans and stuff like that, or maybe chicken. I'm a morning cook, I cook eggs, bacon, grits, farina, and all of that. I'm only that far in cooking but I need to step my game up.

well there was this one time were my friend depended on his other friend witch uriel depended on  agustin with his psp but a couple of minutes later they were in the train station were uriels psp was robbed because someone took it from agustins hands and tried to run but uriel caught up to the robber and masterlocked and almost choked the robber he is tall then they took the psp back from the robber and well uriel never trusted him with his psp again so yeah.....^^

It was just another day at work for my mother. Who knew that day would come wit surprises? My mother's co-worker always had a crush on her, and he would take her out to different places. My mother would also come home with a new story to tell me about the night she had. We're like best friends, we tell each other everything. Well on that one particular day she came home to announce that he had propose to her. I was feeling so many different feelings. I was shocked, surprised, and happy. At first I thought that was it but unfortunately there was one more surprise. She told me he was Venezuelan and he wasn't legal. So not only was she in love but also helping him. the only Id he had was his passport which had pictures of him when he was little. He looked so adorable.

So today we went on a POS in the Bronx Zoo. It was very interesting and fun. We saw a lot of animals and of course interviewed people although it was hard because a lot of the were very rude. Overall it was fun and we took a lot of pictures and recorded a lot of tress and animals. :)

Well to day we went to the Bronx Zoo. On another POS UGH! But whatever we did what we had to do. Today i did the intro and outro. It was kind of cool but i didn't do a POS because we didn't have time and everybody didn't want to answer our questions. We got there around 12:30 Lachelle meet us there. My feet hurt I'm so tired we walked a lot. We  saw a little bit of animals but i really wanted to see more. But we couldn't because this wasn't a field trip. Soo boooooooo!! Well Ttyl! Got there at like 12. There was a very long line to get in, but we got in. We were trying to stop everyone we thought would stop and do the interview with us. We had better POS days than today but we got it done. Either they had kids and couldn't stop, or they didn't speak english. Then we just stop for a couple of seconds when we saw animal that we were walking past. It was kind of fun.

Today my group and I went to the Bronx Zoo. It was boring for me because i do not like animals. And then it was real hard to do a p.o.s because everyone there were very busy. People did not want to stop. People kept walking away and ignoring me -__-. So yea the zoo was so Boring. Plus i hate this hot weather. And  kinda got mad at some of my teamates but whatever. Im just glad we got the Zoo over with because that was the worse place to go at to do a P.o.s.

No one is going to want to stop and talk to someone, they came there to watch animals.

Today I have to leave early from HarlemLIVE because I have a class from 1:30 to 4. I think I told y'all this before but I have to attend this class EVERY Wednesday. It's mandatory for me to be there, no excuses. The team is going to the Bronx Zoo for the interviews about being Eco-Friendly. I'm sure not going to be there today, I hope they have fun. Go Newseum! I'm coming back for the Memoir class. I want to be apart of that also.

July 14 , 2009 (Brooklyn Bridge :)

OK so today was a long day !! We went to the Brooklyn bridge on a POS and we walked a lot . We couldn't walk the whole bridge because Aryel and Lachelle are extremely scared of bridges :( . A lot of people were extremely rude but a few were very nice :) . I think that i am getting better with interviewing people but i still have a lot to work on. I also have to work on approaching people. Today we had to interview people on eco-friendly. Overall today was a fun and interesting day :) ! Byeeeeeee :D

Well It was kinda of frightening going on POS today because I didn't know that we were going to go on the bridge ( We were in the middle of it). I am terrified of bridges and I thought I was going to have an asthma attack. But i wasn't the only one scared, so was my love Aryel. We were holding each other hands really tight. We didn't let go until we were on hard concrete. I was the only one that did an interview on the bridge. It will be the first and last time i ever do that. The topic of course was on being Eco-friendly. Now my feet are killing me and i just can't wait to throw myself on my bed when i get home. 

Brooklyn Bridge July 14,2009

OMG!!! Today was so much fun even though i was scared od. I will never never ever go back. The floors are made out of wood like what if i fall.OMG!! I hate walking over there me and Lachelle was so scared and plus the walk way was over the cars and the water. But over all it was fun. We took a lot of pictures and we walked a lot i thought i lost 10 pounds. My feet are killing me i cant wait to go home and go to sleep. I did my first POS i asked a Council men questions about being eco-friendly. It was so cool. Well heres a little pictures of my day. OMG LOOK AT ME I WAS SOO SCARED!!! But i was a good girl {lol}.

So, today Lashelle, Franchelly, Malik, Aryel and I went to the Brooklyn Bridge. We continues our P.O.S. about Eco-Friendly. We were all so tired. We took the express train to get there faster but it was still a very long ride. When we got there we walked to the middle of the bridge and tried stopping people, but everyone was very "busy". People were 'rushing' to work or taking photographs or they just didnt want to stop and listen. So, we all ended up interviewing one person each. its not like we need to interview 10 people. We have another P.O.S tomorrow. Anyways we walked so much that my feet is still killing me... a lot! But it was cool since i like the Bridge. I am just soooooo gladddd that we're back..... Felt like we were never gonna get back...

Memior Homework Part 3: The Bad year

In the year of 2005 it was not a good year for me and my family. It all started in February when my grandmother had a minor stroke and had to be rushed to the hospital. I was blessed when they let her go home that night. That summer could have been better but the same day that my dad took my cousin to the airport and he was outside working he broke his leg whill trying to get Jack our golden retriever so he got rushed to the hospital. So that summer stunk. In October my grandmother got sick and had to be rushed to the hospital where sadly she passed.

Aww Man, What a Tuesday.

Its Tuesday June 14th. Today I was kind of late because I had a dentist appointment. Well I'm here at HarlemLIVE writing about myself and doing my blogs. I'm suppose to be finishing my research paper that I was working on yesterday. I hope I get to finish today. I finally took the photography class yesterday, I was waiting to take that class finally. I've learned some stuff about the camera we suppose to use as a professional and how to use photoshop. But anyways we going to have another class today later on. Today is a very bad day. There was like a lot of arguments between staff and teammates. What's wrong with people these days? I don't know but all I know is that it's summer time and it can really be ugly sometimes.

well today so far is going kinda going good so far I got better at skate boarding and Im getting more friendly with other people. I came kinda of early but it wasnt opened so I waited outside took the liberty of learning how too skateboard better anyways I like lucys skateboard its pretty fast.

CENTRAL PARK

YESTERDAY WE WENT TO CENTRAL PARK AND WE WENT OUT IN A STORY AND ASK PEOPLE ABOUT BEING EQUAL FRIENDLY AND HOW TO SAVE THE EARTH BY RECLING AND WE TOOK PICTURES AND ALL OFF US TALK ABOUT HOW TO SAVE THE EARTH AND WENT around asking people like what can we do to save our earth like and example by not trowing garbage in the floor using least energy like when turn on the light in youre room and you turn it off to save more energy

Today we are going to the Brooklyn bridge. On another POS on being eco-friendly. I'm going to take the pictures.YAY!! I wonder what is going to happen there. I hope people are nice. Today there is going to be a lot of work. But the more points we get the better chances of us winning. Then later we have to take a class with Christian. Until later bloggers. Ttyl.

Today I got here early and there was no one to open the door so I and a couple other people sat in the back till some one came to open the door I was rellived that I was inside because it was getting to hot I was already getting black I dont need to get blacker. But Today we are going to The Bk Bridge for a POS I am so excited and scared at the same time because I Might get jumped and robbed LOL

Today someone pulled the emergency brake on the train and it took them 20 minutes to investigate what was the problem. Then got to work and it wasn't even open yet. Later we're supposed to go to the Brooklyn Bridge to do some more POS' Eco-friendly again. Hopefully we go cause now I sort of like doing interviews.

july 13,2009 central park

I had a lot of fun at central park. Some people did interviews an other took pictures. That was the first POS that i went on. It was soo cool. Then everybody did confessionals about going green. I hope i will be able to keep my pledge. We took a lot of pictures of grass and trees some of us took pictures hugging a  tree. It was soo cute. This picture is of me and Lachelle hugging a tree. Awwww! I WUbB HeR!

Tuesday da 14th

I got here at 11 and there waz a problem with da door so we had to wait almost a half hour till sumone who had the key to open the door I have a lot to do today. I am listenin to music which is a great way to start da day. Theres a lot to do and so little time so I have to double check to make sure everyting from yestarday is done so i'll blog later

First monday

Today I came to work a little mite late because I had to go to get my cell phone in my friends house. She didnt opened the door because she was sleeping cause she went to sleep at 8:30am and she was talking wit her friends wasting my minutes and my text messages.When I got to Harlem live I when right to work so Gisely don't know that I was late.At 1:30 my group went to a central park to interview people about eco-friendly and they left me and I took the train by myself and i had to pay for myself.I was mad at them because I was calling them to ask them what street they were at and they didnt tell me and ignored me if they didnt want me to go then tell me .Then it was that I wanted to be last in confetion because i dont like people to be looking at me when im talking to the camara.And then all the girl started yelling at me and to forget it because i was being kicked out of the team anyways because i dont do anything for the team. that i only do things for gesely. when i got back to harlem live they told gesely that i didnt do anything in central park.

Newseum Goes Green

Today Team Newseum went to Central Park to talk about being Eco friendly. I learned a lot of stuff that I did not know out side of of pollution. So this was type of an educational pos That was actually kind of fun I cant doubt it. Then we had to do some research for our presentation which I think that we ill win again.

well today after the morning went well I mean we went to the park and interviewed people it was kinda fun though there was allot of rejections we then did confessions and we took allot of peopleadvice on eco system and we asked many question so it went well but anyways gotta stay till six wanna earn extra points laterz... =D

Today we went on a P.O.S. at central Park regarding on Eco-Friendly. It was pretty fun because i like nature and being in the park was nice. I got to interview a couple, and they gave me many answers towards my questions. I think my questions were good. I think our presentation on Friday is going to be pretty good. Hopefully we win again. I think we're going to be very creative on the next one...
